Long time no see, Blogger denizens. It has been awhile, and I have been up to a few things...
Expectations
Let me begin by tempering expectations. First, I don't have any plans to revive my Blogger-blogging. As I recounted on my previous post, Blogger as a platform has been on a long trend towards censorship and burying adult content for years.
Despite even a year of renewed efforts in 2022, the platform had been throttling and preventing success of Impregnation Erotica for quite some time. No longer can people just follow the link and see some boobies and bellies, but rather they have to jump through Google's verification hoops. I myself have trouble even getting to my own homepage from how many blockades jump in my way!
The only emails I've been receiving regarding this blog have been notices of banned and removed content. The backlog is riddled and pocked with removals and broken links, a painful thing to see for the archivist in me. Fixing all that while this blog has been systematically throttled for years is simply not viable. Reversing a decade-long downward trend is just not going to happen on a dying platform like Blogger.
The juice isn't worth the squeeze for Blogger, not when I have other more viable platforms I am developing as we speak.
Burnout
Especially with my marketing non-expertise. In all these years, I haven't ever gotten around to actually learning how to market outside of just putting out content. On the one hand, in an age of astroturfed e-celebrity, whatever success I've had here has been completely "organic", however accidental getting viewers at all has been. That's an accomplishment of sorts! But as this blog's viability waned, so too did the magnitude of any success at all. And even at its height, Blogger didn't reach my readers in a way that would turn them into customers despite the superior quality of my premium work.
But marketing isn't to blame for the fundamental problem - I was burnt out and simply not producing anything of value. No content means no audience means no success. Misgvings about certain topics I had written about, despite their commercial promise, gnawed at me. The time I spent hunting for erotica was immense, and I found myself not even enjoying the things I was finding. Puttering around for digital pussy doesn't exactly stoke a healthy sense of pride for a creative soul like mine.
It also didn't help that during this time period Smashwords, the publishing platform that held a special place in my heart for being where I made my first dollar publishing a book in 2013, suddenly closed my account and removed all of my titles. Not over a content violation, but due to a Person of Call Center not filing my tax information properly. There was no appeal, and no response to my protest. A decade of works - gone.
The works themselves are fine. I keep local copies of every significant work I pen. But that loss wasn't encouraging a lot of creative enterprise in me either, especially considering my naughtier premium works that Amazon and Patreon refuse to handle no longer had any platform to be published on at all.
Rekindling
Towards the end of 2025, after years of not accomplishing much in the world of erotic writing, I finally felt creatively restless. I enjoyed that work, writing enjoyable pieces for all of you, and I am good at it if I do say so myself. The prospect of potentially making a career, or at least a decent side-income doing so, was always exciting to me since I began.
While I remained firm in my desire to no longer proliferate most forms of what I consider "unethical porn" (think sad factory-chickens versus happy pasture-chickens - only horny), I am still far from being a prude when it comes to the erotic. The advent of AI imagry sparked both my terror and interest, and I learned enough of it in 2025 alongside improving my Photoshop skills to be able to generate a few images viable enough to turn into new, passable cover art.
Never having been an artist in drawing and painting, I nevertheless have made myself into a competent enough editor of existing imagery. Photoshop and Premiere have been my bread and butter for many projects, even while the humble sketching pencil eluded me.
My AI skills and toolsets leave much to be desired, but it gave me a tool that sparked my creative instincts once again. The prospect of being able to potentially "illustrate" portions of my works on my own accord was very interesting, and to do so with free tools (I use ComfyUI rather than corporate models) got me excited to think of the possibilities.
Around that time, I decided to give this whole erotica business another go. The main challenge was to re-establish the discipline necessary to put my pen to paper so to speak, as opposed to just my dick into my hand. That happens to, but no one else gets to enjoy that as much!
So in December of 2025 I returned to my likewise neglected Patreon and wrote a long-delayed Christmas story. Amazingly, despite having done just about absolutely nothing for it save one post since 2022, there were still a handful of Patrons donating monthly to me. I appreciate them immensely, even if it was just due to them forgetting to cancel their payments to an inactive creator. I sought to reward their patience/blissful unawareness with new content, and I did.
Since then, I've been committing myself to trying to write a little every day. 500 words a day towards some erotic enterprise for a guy constantly writing away on a keyboard isn't a huge stretch. When you do the math it would amount to 182,500 words per year, enough words to make a lot of excellent stories come to life! Factor in too my tendency to have creative bursts frequently enough where 500 words turns into 3k in a single sitting, and the viability of filling out my erotic catalogue suddenly became not just possible, but almost inevitable.
I haven't been perfect about it. Several weeks here and there have gone by without a naughty word being put to the page. But for several months now I have been able to post a new story - along with new pictures and even video clips made in-house - on my Patreon and new SubscribeStar regularly. Even the really spicy stuff. And more interesting projects, I assure you, are coming.

Onward
Well, I'll probably use what remains of this blog to promote my works, with a generous helping of previews to help sell you on the cost of subscription. My subscription prices start at a modest $5 for many exclusive and early-access stories all together, and my individual premium stories are $3 per short story, and bundles being something like $2 + $1 per story if I remember my math correctly.
I used to argue that my short stories were the cost of just a few cups of coffee, but now thanks to inflation, access to my erotic works are now cheaper than your average cup of coffee! Silver linings, right? So let me describe my different current platforms and what they specialize in:
It's not so much a platform as it is a basket of my platforms! It took me quite a few years to finally appreciate the elegance and utility of having a link aggregator like Linktr.ee working for me, and so I finally got around to setting one up. It should be a one-stop shop to keep appraised of all Derren Grathy haunts and contact points.
After Smashwords nixed my catalog, I've been able to exclusively sell most of my titles on Amazon. This brought along a small perk - Most of my books are now available through their Kindle Select program, meaning you can read them "for free" if you have Kindle Select. Which isn't really free in the end, but it is more readily accessible if you already have it.
As ever I greatly appreciate the ratings and positive comments on my stories. I'd suggest the following metric: If my story makes you cum just once, 4-stars. If it makes you cum more than once, 5-stars. If it's a favorite story, leave a comment. And if it fails to make you cum at all, just refund it entirely. Helps my morale and sales a ton!
This has been my main platform for premium content. For every one book I get released on Amazon, I generally have two or three other stories that I've written mostly for Patreon as monthly stories. And content isn't just limited to stories. I have experimented with a few more ambitious projects in years past, such as a visual novel and a Choose Your Own Erotica design.
Already the backlog on Patreon is large enough to give you a lot of value for its $5 a month option. I've even added in a $1 option as well, allowing you to participate in voting for what my monthly projects will be. At my humble subscribers numbers now, most decisions are determined by a single vote. That is a lot of power to have for just $1 I'd say!
Sure, it's a little redundant to have SubscribeStar as well as a Patreon, except for one very important difference - content restrictions. Patreon has been gradually sliding towards an anti-adult policy for years. It isn't as terrible as Blogger and other platforms, yet, but it's trending that way like so many others. Even this year I have had two projects get nuked off of my page due to supposed content violations - one in the visual forms, another about story content.
SubscribeStar subscriptions cost $5 just like Patreon and will come to contain much, if not all, of the content that I've created on Patreon - with the addition of works too spicy for Patreon or Amazon to handle, AND audiobook files, AND more pictures and videos I've generated myself! My hope is to build out a full alternative that will not sink when the day (probably) comes where Patreon no longer tolerates my brand of erotic endeavors, so we'll see how that goes.
I suppose I have one of those. Have had it for over a decade actually, but I haven't the foggiest idea on how to actually build up the following there. Do I use hash tags? Do I become a Reply Guy in some other horny-person's threads? Is there some kind of club or forum I can park the account in to gather an audience? It's all arcane to me in my marketing-challenged ways.
Still, I have it, and sometimes I even use it. So I suppose it is worth sharing here. Feel free to suggest great impregnation/pregnancy content accounts to follow.
